In addition to the unique ports of Bonifacio in Corsica, Venice in the Adriatic and Valletta in Malta, next to the sophisticated Côte d'Azur and the Costa Smeralda in Sardinia, there are also spectacular contrasts between mountains and sea as along the Amalfi Coast or in Croatia. And there are many hidden and secluded coves like Amorgos in the Cyclades or along the north west coast of Mallorca.
