Sailing-Classics cruises with 16-26 guests (cabin charter), combining authentic sailing without fixed schedule with great comfort and high-quality service (4 meals a day, good cuisine), water sports, tender service, shore excursions, etc. On regular cruises we sail between 3-6h every day. Guests are welcome to help with handling the sails and navigation. We operate year-round and cruise the Mediterranean Sea in summers and the Caribbean in winters. One vessel usually stays around the Atlantic islands for a few weeks during the Atlantic crossings.
Life on board requires a certain lifestyle. The international crew (mostly European) speaks English amongst each other, while guests are 90% German speaking (German, Swiss, Austrian, some Dutch). We sail with guests, so every crew member represents the Company and is responsible for guests’ well-being. Workdays are intense and long. With no fixed cruising schedule, working hours stay flexible. Working periods are around 2 months in continuous daily service on board. Travel days are paid.
Sailing-Classics is looking for long-term working relationships that both sides can build and plan on. When you show motivation and get to know the vessel, climbing up the ladder is absolutely possible.
Sailing-Classics CV is based in the Netherlands, but there is also a sales office in Stuttgart, Germany
