In order to join us, there is no requirement except the desire for sailing and the sea. Sailing experience or sailing licenses are also not necessary.
A certain fitness is needed, which allows, with the help of the crew, to climb a steep staircase or ladder and from there into a – sometimes unsteady – dinghy.
In this respect, unfortunately, our ships are not suitable for people with severe disabilities and/or those who require constant care and/or wheelchair users. Any illness or disability affecting the trip must be communicated to us or the captain in advance.
If necessary, a medical certificate is required. The captain may at any time exclude persons whose fitness or condition is not sufficient for participation in a sailing trip, without any claim being made.
